FAQ

Straight answers.

Before the first sip, people have questions. Here are the ones we hear most, answered the way we would across the counter.

Coffee

Where is Ridgeline coffee roasted?

In Alberta, every week, in small batches. The roast date is printed on every bag, so you always know how fresh it is. Ridgeline Roast is 100% Canadian owned and started in Leduc, at The First Sip.

What coffees do you sell?

Eight coffees, each named for a moment everyone else overlooks. They come in 340g and 2lb bags, whole bean or ground to order the day your order ships. Every coffee we sell is specialty grade, Q-graded 84 to 85+.

What if I don't love it?

Tell us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll make it right: full refund, no questions asked. Keep the coffee.

Wholesale & Business

Who do you supply wholesale?

Any place that serves coffee, or wants to. Cafes, restaurants, offices, job sites, bakeries and diners. If people drink coffee there, we can supply it. For your kitchen at home, shop our coffees or start a subscription.

Is there a minimum order or a contract?

No minimums and no lock-in contract. You order week to week, so a slow week costs you nothing. Every wholesale partner gets a free tasting at their location, a free training session when they come on board, and a dedicated wholesale portal for pricing and reorders.

How do I start a wholesale account?

Reach out through wholesale.ridgelineroast.com, call (780) 937-1250 or email support@ridgelineroast.com. One of the owners calls you back within one business day and books a free tasting at your shop.

Machines & Supplies

Do you sell coffee machines?

Yes. We're an Authorized Bellucci Dealer, the first in Edmonton. We carry the Bistro (40 to 50 cups a day, 2L tank), the Bistro Pro (up to 80 cups a day, 120V, 4L tank or direct water line) and the Caffè Bar. We help you spec the right machine for your bar and your volume, we're there on install day with a master technician, and we calibrate it and train your team ourselves.

Can I lease or finance a machine?

We don't lease or finance in house, but we know people who do and we're happy to point you to them. And if you have something else in mind, talk to us. We're always open to working out an arrangement that fits.

Do you carry syrups, cups and other supplies?

Yes. Syrups, cups and bar supplies ride on the same delivery as your coffee, so it's one order and one drop-off.

Shipping & Subscriptions

Do you deliver locally?

Yes. We deliver to Edmonton, Leduc, Nisku, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Spruce Grove on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Order by 2pm the day before for next-day delivery. Local delivery is a $5 flat rate, and free on orders of $50 or more. You can also pick up for free at The First Sip, 1 Outlet Collection Way (Entrance 1), Leduc: Monday to Friday 10am to 8pm, and weekends and holidays 11am to 6pm.

Do you ship across Canada?

Anywhere in Canada, via our shipping partner Chit Chats. Shipping cost depends on where you are and is calculated at checkout, and it's free on orders of $50 or more. Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days and arrive in an estimated 3 to 5 business days, with tracking by email once your order ships.

How do subscriptions work?

Pick your coffee and how often you want it, every 1 to 4 weeks. Subscribers save 15%, and your first subscription order ships free. Pause, skip or cancel anytime.
