Sourcing & Quality
WHERE IT COMES FROM MATTERS
We don't just buy coffee. We know exactly where it's grown, who grew it, how it was processed, and how it scored before it reaches our roastery.
We source through direct relationships with farms and cooperatives — not brokers, not middlemen. We know where our beans come from, who grew them, and how they were processed.
Every lot is evaluated by certified Q-graders before we accept it. Scoring 84–85+ places our beans firmly in specialty grade — the top tier of global coffee quality.
Our beans undergo independent inspections at origin to verify consistency, cleanliness, and grade before export. What arrives at the roastery matches what was promised at the farm.
Not monthly. Not quarterly. Weekly. Every bag was roasted within the last seven days at our facility in Alberta. The roast date is on the bag — not a best-before date.
Every Good Roast Starts From the Farmers.
The Roastery
ROASTED WEEKLY IN ALBERTA
Our roasting facility is in Alberta, and we roast to a profile rather than a timer. Each origin gets its own curve, and every batch is roasted to that curve so the cup is the same bag after bag.
Infrared drum roasting gives precise control over temperature curves. Every batch is profiled individually — the same technology used by the best specialty roasters in North America.
We roast in small batches throughout the week. Your bag isn't pulled from months-old inventory — it's roasted for you, this week. That's the difference you taste.
We always roast in controlled batches. Growing does not mean bigger roasts, it means more of them. The cup stays the same.
Small Batches. Every Week.

THE JOURNEY
OUR PROMISE
If you don't love it, we'll give you your money back. Keep the coffee. That's not a marketing line, that's a promise from real people who stand behind what they roast.
"Good coffee. Real people."
