FOR FINISHING STRONG.

This is our darkest roast. A French roast built bold and full-bodied, deep enough to stand up to milk and still taste like something. Dark chocolate up front, roasted almond through the middle, a rich molasses finish that lingers. Made for the drip pot and the French press.

The last mile is where you feel everything that came before it. The long days. The wrong turns. The people who helped you keep going. It's the part of the journey that reminds you why you started.

Keep going. You're closer than you think.

Whole bean or ground. Freshly roasted in Alberta.

The Last Mile

$20.99 CAD

ONE ROAD. ONE CUP. ONE FINISH.

The source. Grown in the Mogiana region of Brazil, red soil and steady sun, some of the most consistent coffee country in South America. The cherry is picked, fully washed, and dried before it ever reaches a roaster. Washing it clean and then taking it deep into a French roast is what gives The Last Mile its bold, full body without the ash of a careless dark roast. This is where the depth comes from.

The Last Mile isn't named for nothing. It's the stretch where the legs go and the head takes over, the part nobody claps for. This one is for the finish. Bold, dark, and honest about what it is. Keep going. You're closer than you think.

THE LAST MILE IS A SINGLE-ORIGIN BRAZIL, TAKEN TO A FRENCH ROAST AND KEPT BOLD. ONE DEEP CUP FOR FINISHING STRONG.

FAQs

When do you guys roast each batch?

We roast fresh every week according to the volume needed each day.

Whole bean or ground? which should I pick?

Whole bean keeps the flavour locked in longer. But if you don't have a grinder, ground works just fine. We grind it right before we ship so it's as fresh as possible. No judgement either way — just drink what works for you.

How should I store my coffee?

Cool, dry place. Keep the bag sealed. Don't put it in the fridge or freezer — that actually pulls moisture in and kills the flavour. A cupboard is perfect.

How much coffee do I need?

A 340g (12oz) bag gets most people through about 20 to 25 cups. A 2lb bag is roughly 45 to 50 cups. Depends on how strong you like it and how many cups you go through, but that's the ballpark.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes. Set your frequency and we'll ship automatically so you never run out. Subscribers save 15% on every order. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime — no contracts, no hassle.

How long does shipping take?

Local orders (Edmonton, Leduc, Nisku area) ship the same week. Canada-wide orders typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Free pickup at The First Sip — Premium Outlet Collection EIA, Leduc County, Alberta. Just select local pickup at checkout.

What if I don't like it?

Reach out to us. We're not going to make it weird. If you're not happy, we'll make it right.

Where are your beans from?

Every roast has a different origin — Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico. The full story is in the "Origin Details" section on each product page. We are continuously expanding our sources as we grow. We know exactly where every bean comes from and who grew it.

Do you sell to businesses?

We do. We work with offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, and industrial sites across Edmonton and surrounding towns. Free delivery, flexible schedules, and equipment options available. Reach out and we'll set up a tasting for your team.
